Dallas Weather
As you might expect, summer is hot.  Dallas has its share of severe thunderstorms and is best visited before the arrival of summer.  Winters are generally moderate, although warm clothing is still reccomended. Spring and fall are moderate, although late spring can be somewhat hot.

Transportation
Like most major cities, Dallas is connected by a dozen or so major highways, making it easy to get to various parts of the city. However, rushhours around Dallas can be very congested. The public transportation system is somewhat limited. Greyhound buses travel between Dallas and surrounding cities, including Ft.Worth, Austin, Houston and SanAntonio.

Prices
Dallas is a reasonably priced city to visit. Of course there are some places that are more expensive than others, but for the most part, it won't break the bank.
