Best Times to Visit
The best times to visit Albuquerque are in Sep. for the New Mexico State Fair; Oct. for the 9-day Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon Festival; or in Nov.- thru Dec. 9th for the Annual Fine Craft Show & Sale. Jan. is rich in cultural events. Feb. is concert month.

January is the coldest month with average highs of 47, average lows of 22. The cold doesn't linger long, in February the average high bounces back up to 56. July is the hottest month with an average daytime high of 93 dropping down to 65 at night. Low humidity makes even the higher temperatures tolerable.

Transportation
Albuquerque offers dual options --- either you have a car or choose your hotel within an easy walk to the Old Town and take commercial tours to other attractions. If you fly into Albuquerque and choose not to rent a car, check with your hotel to see if they offer airport shuttle service -- many do.
